Things fall apart Broken (in the best possible way) The magnificent defeat The crucible The tears of things A severe mercy A place for truth A crazy, holy grace Whistling in the dark I cheerfully refuse (to let) The soul of shame (Or) counterfeit gods (Have) the last word Bird by bird (I) journey toward wholeness Sacred strides Healing what’s within Awed to heaven, rooted in earth (I’m) falling upward In(to) the hands of a fiercely tender God
